Database platform provides a unified and scalable environment for managing diverse data sources. This platform enables businesses to handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data with minimal manual intervention.
Adopting a DB platform helps organizations improve data access and governance, thereby supporting faster decision-making and innovation. Moreover, DB platforms offer automation capabilities, reducing the need for manual database management and freeing up engineering resources.
The project focused on modernizing a suite of RESTful APIs by migrating from Java EE (Jakarta) to Spring Boot, upgrading from Java 11 to 21. Key services – Postgres (Adapter), OMA, and IaC – were refactored for better modularity and cloud readiness. We containerized the services with Docker, deployed to Azure, and established full CI/CD pipelines. A major milestone was upgrading authentication from basic auth to OAuth 2.0, improving security and compliance. The system now supports MSSQL, Postgres, and Oracle, enhancing maintainability and enabling scalable, cloud-native operations.
